K-9 Country is a 3.5 acre farm located in the heart of Hinckley, Illinois, just west of Aurora.  Our kennels boast 3.5' by 6' and 6' by 6' open ceiling spaces for each dog to make their home away from home.  Each kennel has an elevated bed and feeding bowls.  We supply blankets and/or carpeting, toys and food and water dishes for all of our four legged guests to ensure their comfort during their stay.  Our outdoor play yards, which they visit 4 times a day, total almost 15 thousand square feet of country grass and trees for them to run, play fetch or do whatever their hearts desires!

If you want the best care possible for your pet, whether they are 16 weeks old or 16 years, here for a night or for a month, our climate controlled kennels are designed for a clean, stress-free stay where they can meet new friends or reunite with old buddies.

We would love to host your four legged family members while you're out of town.  If you're on vacation, shouldn't your furry friend be on vacation, too?

$18 per night for dogs
($12 for each additional dog in household)
     **schedule a board bath for $10-15 so your buddy comes home smelling great!!

BOARDING REQUIREMENTS:
As a state licensed boarding facility we are required to have your pet's current vaccination records on file during their stay.  This includes rabies, DHLPPC (distemper, hepatitus, leptospirosis, parvovirus, parainfluenza and corona virus), and the bordatella vaccine (kennel cough).  We also require a negative fecal test within 12 months of their boarding dates.  For your convenience, this information can either be sent to us directly from your veteranarian's office via fax, or you can simply bring us a copy when you visit.

You are more than welcome to bring your own dog food, especially if they are on a special diet, but we do require that the food be in a plastic container.  If your food is not bought in a plastic container there will be a charge of $10 for a container supplied by K-9 Country.  If you choose not to bring your own food we feed Canidae brand dog food at no additional fee.
 
Is your dog on medication? No problem.  Just inform us of the condition and bring the prescription and we will see to it that they are medicated according to instruction of your vet.  We do not charge any additional fees for medication or any other special needs your friend might have.
